Getting started: from your calendar to the widget on your site
Create your first calendar, set your hours, and add the booking form to your website or share it as a link.
- 1
Create your account
Go to bookbrain.it/register and fill in Business name, Slug (your public address; it fills in automatically), Business type, Email and Password. Click Create account and you'll go straight to the dashboard. You can also use Continue with Google on the sign-in page.
- Every new account starts with a free 14-day Pro trial, no credit card required.
- When the trial ends, you move to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan.
- 2
Create your calendar
In the left menu, open Calendars and click New calendar. In the General tab, choose Time slots (appointments, visits, lessons), then give the calendar a name and check the time zone.
- The Slug is the last part of the calendar's public link.
- Stays (nights), for B&Bs and vacation rentals, is available starting with the Business plan.
- 3
Set your hours
In the Availability tab, use Add to create one or more time ranges for each day. For each range, choose the Slot length (15 to 180 minutes), how many bookings you accept per slot, and an optional buffer between appointments. Copy to all applies the same hours to the other days.
- To close for a day or a few hours: Blocked dates tab → Block date.
- For closures that come back every year (like Christmas): Settings → Bookings → Closures.
- 4
Set your booking rules
In the Scheduling tab, set how much notice you need (Minimum notice, in hours), how far ahead people can book (Maximum advance booking, in days), and the Max bookings per day. Click Create calendar to save.
- 5
Share the link or add the widget to your site
Open the calendar and go to the Sharing tab. You'll find three ways to let people book:
- Public URL: a link to share on WhatsApp, Instagram, email or your Google Business Profile.
- Iframe code to paste into your site: copy it and paste it into a page on your website (WordPress, Wix, Shopify or plain HTML).
- QR code: download it as a PDF or print it for your shop or office.
